On this particular day, St. Luke's ER was in the red, meaning we were wall to wall with patients and really not enough staff to take care of them and move them out to the floors or discharge them home. Everyone in the ER worked hard and together to do just that. Jessica came down and helped out where she could. We didn't have a chance to have lunch and it was getting very tense. Jessica went to other floors and brought us back sandwiches and soda which brought tears to my eyes. Not only did she help us but she made sure we had something to eat. The doctors were happy as well and said they have never seen anyone take the time out and show that kind of love like Jessica did.
