December 2021 Honoree
Jessica Tovias, RN
My father was admitted for surgery a few weeks ago. My sister and I flew in from Idaho. Jessica kept me updated on my father as soon as I came. She showed so much care for my dad. She was always on top of everything with a smile and always happy to help my siblings and me with any questions and concerns. Knowledge is important, but to me, the care of my father is more important. My father was always clean and looked comfortable, and that made me happy and at ease to know he was being taken care of as if it was my siblings or me. He had a major stroke and is non-responsive, and it scares me to know he is not able to communicate to tell me how he is being treated. But from what I have seen in these few days, my dad has one of the best nurses, and I feel so much at ease knowing I will have to leave in a few days. But I can trust he is in good hands.
Thank you, Jessica, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
