This hospital has changed since the 1990s. It is very good now. The staff is awesome. I’m happy I came here. I was not going to come here but decided to try it again. It was the best choice I made. That brings me to the nurses. They’re awesome, but there is one certain nurse who goes above and beyond the call of duty.

Jessica comes to the room and cheers you up. She will listen to everything you say. When you’re in a hospital, you’re stressed, in pain, bored, lonely, and sad. She comes in smiling and happy. She brings up a happy conversation and makes me forget about my pain and problems. What I like the most about her is she takes time to hear you.

One day I woke up with my back hurting from laying on the bed for so many days. She went and got me an air mattress. The other day I needed a wheelchair. They are short on wheelchairs. She said, "I will find one no matter what." I don’t know where she got it from, but she kept her word and got me one. I wish this hospital had a lot more nurses like her. She is a special one of the few that are gifted. She lights up the room when she is here. Tomorrow she is off, and I wish she was not. It’s going to be a long and boring day without her. I got used to her cheering me up, but she needs days off. She deserves it. I say to this hospital, take good care of her. She is the best and you won’t find anyone like her. If I ever come back to the hospital again, I wish for her to be my nurse.
