Jessica Tucker, RN

Jessica was the nurse given to my husband in the emergency department. He became septic and was far from himself, although he was altered in his thinking, she took the time to explain everything she was doing and reassured him through every procedure that had to be done. Nursing requires passion and patience beyond account, and that’s what Jessica has. Although I’m unsure of her age I know she is young but wise far beyond her years. Before leaving her shift that night, Jessica took the time to tell us goodbye and that she wished us the best, and to me that speaks numbers for the nurse that she is. The emergency department nurses do not get the recognition they deserve for the work they put in, and if I can uplift just one nurse with this nomination I hope that I can because no one is more deserving.
