A few weeks ago, there was a patient who had to return home to Utah for rehab and to be closer to home. Jessica was not only professional but went above and far beyond by not only completing the extensive training with the family but also calling the Springfield airport to ensure this patient could go without any complications related to the medical supplies he needed (extensive tube feeding, saline flushes, diabetic supplies). Jessica rallied multiple disciplines to ensure that this patient would transition smoothly to the next level of care. When the facility in Utah was against the patient being admitted in the evening, Jessica passionately advocated for the family who had already booked their tickets on such short notice.
