I ended up having an emergency induced delivery due to my preeclampsia condition. Jessica was my nurse the following day when I was truly at my worst. I do not remember much from this day as I could not walk, stand, barely open my eyes or talk. The small moments I do remember was when Jessica sat me up and patted my back and gave me a hug. She knew exactly how hard it was as a new mom to not be able to hold or barely breastfeed my daughter. Jessica even had to bring me down to the ER when they called a stroke code, but she always kept calm and made me feel okay. I will forever be grateful for the care I received during such a hard time. Jessica didn't just act as my nurse, but also as a compassionate mom and friend. She is an extraordinary nurse in every single way. Thank you so much, I will never forget her.
