First of all, everyone I was in contact with was wonderful. I couldn’t ask for a better crew to take care of me while I was here. But Jesica. She was very caring to me and all her patients. She would go the extra mile to make sure I was ok! I had no visitors while I was there. I can’t explain how lonely and scared I was. Being in the hospital is bad enough, but being stuck in a room alone all day is miserable. Maybe Jessica noticed this and gave me extra attention, but something makes me think she just treated me like she treats all her patients. She would joke around with me and when we talked I could tell she was really listening and cared about what I had to say. She made me feel like it was gonna be ok. Every time she walked into my room it felt like a friend was walking in. I can see she is totally committed to her job and patients. I had been there for a while and was getting a little stir crazy. She offered to take me outside to get air. I cannot tell you how much this meant to me. She took me outside and sat with me in the sunshine until I was rejuvenated and ready to go back inside. She’s great and this hospital is lucky to have her. You have to have compassion, care, and love to be in this profession, and that she does! A+ to her and your entire team!
