Jesse Wyckoff is an outstanding team member. She is a consistently high performing nurse. While on 7 East, she has functioned as a preceptor for multiple new RNs and Nursing Students who speak highly of her compassionate approach to nursing care. As a team member, she is well regarded by all and is willing to do whatever is needed to make the team successful and provide outstanding care to patients. Recently, a 7 East patient had a Jury Trial for his ITA hold. Jesse willingly agreed to work extra shifts to accompany this patient downtown for his jury trial. This made the process more tolerable for the patient as they had a strong relationship due to her consistent work with him. It also resulted in a positive court outcome due to her ability to testify regarding his care needs.

Below is a comment about Jesse from the ITA Manager: "I just wanted to reach out to give kudos to a nurse on 7E Jessica Wyckoff who was a great help in the 90-day jury hearing for a patient. She clearly is a caring and dedicated nurse and went above and beyond to help this patient and his wife during this unfortunate but necessary process. She represented HMC admirably in her testimony at court but also in her patient care during the process."

The next comment is from King County Senior Deputy Prosecuting Attorney with the Involuntary Treatment Unit: "….a special thanks to Jessica for her comprehensive, caring, and moving testimony. The jury had no trouble recognizing that HMC was caring well for this patient and that there was every reason to follow your recommendations."
