I would like to commend Jessica Ybarra at 7 Central. Recently my wife was admitted to the hospital and was sent to 7 Central. She was there for four days. We had the privilege of having Jessica as our day nurse for all four days. Jessica was a true advocate for the patient. One of the days she had a student with her, and she was very patient and kind in teaching this young man. She took the time to allow him to do hands-on stuff that would have probably been faster if she had done it herself. I know for a fact that Jessica had a lot of patients and was very busy, however when she was in our room and taking care of my wife you could feel that she was the most important person. This is rare now as nurses are spread thin, and responsibilities are becoming overwhelming. This was not noticeable with Jessica. My wife would look forward to Jessica coming in each morning because she knew that she was in good hands. I appreciate this because this was very exhausting for my wife both physically and mentally. Jessica reassured her that everything was going as expected and would encourage her to keep her head up and not be defeated. Thank you Jessica for going way above and beyond!
