My husband received a left ventricular assist device. Jessica was our first contact and trained me on driveline care. She was thorough, patient, funny and kind, and over-the-top enthusiastic but also very honest about the process. During a weekly assessment call, it was Jessica's gut feeling that brought us back to the hospital where a leaky valve was discovered. Surgery followed with complications and he passed. Jessica was the first to be open and honest about his outcome and I'm forever grateful for her honesty and compassion.
