Through her scholarly work and clinical practice, she demonstrates accountability, ethical decision-making, and a passion for continuous improvement in nursing practice.

Furthermore, Jessicah supports the university’s vision of preparing leaders who make meaningful contributions locally and globally. As a DNP student, she strives to become a transformational healthcare leader who advances nursing practice, improves patient care delivery, and positively impacts the health of diverse communities.

Jessicah’s dedication to community engagement and nursing advocacy reflects Wilmington University’s mission and vision of preparing compassionate leaders who positively impact healthcare systems and diverse communities both locally and globally.

As an outspoken and confident student leader, Jessicah is not afraid to voice concerns, share ideas, or advocate for her peers when challenges arise. She serves as a strong advocate for fairness, student support, and academic success, ensuring that the perspectives and needs of her classmates are heard and addressed. Her willingness to speak up demonstrates leadership, integrity, and a genuine commitment to the well-being of others.

Jessicah is a passionate advocate for the nursing profession and works diligently to promote the voice and visibility of nurses in healthcare and the community. She actively participates in professional and community organizations that support nursing leadership, mentorship, diversity, and global health initiatives.

Through her involvement with the African Nurse Practitioners, she supports professional networking, mentorship, and the advancement of African and internationally educated nurses in advanced practice roles.

In addition, Jessicah plays an active role in the Delaware Kenya Nurses Honor Guard, where she helps honor and recognize nurses who have passed away for their lifelong dedication and service to the profession. Her participation reflects her deep respect for the nursing community and her commitment to preserving the dignity and legacy of nurses.

Jessicah is also involved with the Delaware Nurses Association, where she contributes to community outreach, health education, advocacy, and initiatives aimed at improving health outcomes within underserved populations. She demonstrates leadership, cultural awareness, and a strong commitment to service.

Jessicah is more than just a dedicated DNP student. She is a compassionate leader, an advocate, and a source of encouragement and strength for those she encounters. She has demonstrated resilience, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to the nursing profession.
