Every time I work with Jessie, she always has a smile on her face. She has worked on the COVID units, helping nurses that have floated in for the first time, and never complains.
Today, amongst many days, Jessie definitely showed that she embodies the DAISY RN characteristics. Jessie worked tirelessly in a particular room trying to get the patient stabilized, promptly asked for the help of others to get supplies, and called a RATT call promptly. Throughout this process, Jessie stayed calm, reassured her patient, and didn't fold under pressure. This put Jessie behind in her other rooms, but she still continued to handle the stress appropriately and she even helped me with supplies in another room. I can't tell you how many times I've witness Jessie treating her patients with love, kindness, and an extremely knowledgeable base to aid in their care. She is a Rockstar when it comes to being a nurse!
