Being a nervous patient, I was so lucky to have the sweetest nurse ever to start my journey. Her name was Jessie and her eyes and warm smile made me start to feel comfortable right away. After explaining step by step what I would be experiencing came time for another nurse to start my IV. I have had numerous surgeries in the past and never experienced such an awful time with an IV. Jessie knew I was very uncomfortable and said to the nurse, "Please stop and let's have R come help." The nurse left and we thought she was bringing back R, but she chose to bring someone else. Jessie said, "I would only like R to try." Then R came and put the IV in within seconds with no problems! There should be more nurses like Jessie. She makes people so comfortable. She's an Angel! She really cares!
