Jessie was assigned as the admission Nurse for a patient arriving at CBHH Bemidji. Jessie's calm, caring, and professional approach and demeanor in this situation were everything required to achieve a safe outcome.

Her compassion and preparedness were overly evident. Her demonstrated ability to remain situationally aware, anticipate needs, and respond accordingly in the moment; not only got this admission safely/effectively through the admission process and onto the unit, but did so in a way that the patient was able to partner and navigate the process with her.

It was a privilege to work alongside her and witness the very foundation of a therapeutic relationship being built.
