Jessie Thorsland, LPN

Jessie has been our daughters' nurse since they were 3 days old. I feel so lucky to have had her as our nurse for so many years, with so many challenging and remarkable health experiences (They are now 14 and 18). Today, Jessie called us right after my daughter's appointment because she knew my daughter needed one more appointment before she heads off to college and wanted to ensure she got to see Dr. Brane one last time to “wrap everything up.” It’s this kind of empathy and compassion that makes us feel like we are part of a Bassett family. She is always welcoming, comforting, a great listener, and can adjust and adapt to whatever crisis we may be in to help calm us – myself included. She is reliable and dependable, and I know I can trust her as our advocate, and she treats us like we matter. Jessie is a huge factor in our affection for Bassett Pediatrics!
