Jessielyn B Canoza, RN
I was rushed to the Emergency Department with a TIA. I was admitted to the HDU/Stoke Unit on the same day.
During the period of some 12 days in the unit, there has been one name that I feel deserves special mention above all other nurses responsible for my care.
I have already sent my thanks to the whole unit, but I would be remiss if I do not single out JESSIELYN CANOZA for her exemplary professionalism and extraordinary service.
Many times, professionals (under the pressure from huge workloads) can draw conclusions or decisions on what is needed to be done, hastily. This happens all too frequently in my own experience, and it is easy to miss or not hear information that may be crucial to ongoing care provision.
Jessielyn does not do this! She is very careful with the care she provides and is very holistic. She can be a wonderful teacher who can guide other healthcare providers.
Jessielyn displayed the kind of communication, intelligence, analysis, and empathy, that truly deserves recognition.
Neurology, Rheumatology, Hematology, and Radiology also delivered expert care through accomplished individuals, but Jessielyn can stand among these ranks.
