Jessika will always hold a special place in my heart!
Jessika from day one of caring for my family member was amazing. She not only was his nurse, but she was a person whom he could laugh with. She always lit his face up when she walked in. Jessika was there to hold my hand and show me support also. She always knew when I needed a hug, smile, or just for her to be there. She had my family member laughing, telling jokes, and giving high fives.
During his stay, he was moved to a different floor. A couple of days later, I was called and informed that he was coding. I arrived at the hospital and two minutes later, Jessika ran in and hugged me. She held me so tight and was there when I made the decision to not resuscitate. She held my hand the entire time.
Nurses like that don’t come around every day. Jessika will always hold a special place in my heart!
