Jestine Arteaga, RN

My husband had a massive pulmonary embolism early this year. All the staff at Fishermen’s Hospital were wonderful, but I especially want to thank Jestine. When my husband's condition deteriorated, Jestine stayed by our side. She was caring and compassionate to both of us. She thoroughly explained everything that was happening. She and the doctor were our guardian angels that day. When we loaded him into the helicopter, Jestine provided me with monumental support when I desperately needed it. All of the doctors at Baptist in Miami repeatedly told us that the actions and care provided by Fishermen’s saved my husband’s life. I cannot thank Jestine, the doctor, and Fishermen’s Hospital enough. My husband is now back with me, recovering.
