I want to take a moment to recognize Jesus for the outstanding care he provided to my 2-year-old daughter and me over the weekend. We were in the ER for six hours—a stressful and emotional experience—, but Jesus went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and well-being every step of the way.

He checked in on my daughter multiple times, always with kindness and compassion, and even gave her a stuffed animal to help ease her fear and anxiety. He didn’t stop at caring for her—he also made sure I was supported, providing both encouragement and even meals during our long stay.

Jesus exemplifies the heart of nursing and the spirit of St. Luke’s. His compassion, attentiveness, and professionalism turned a difficult day into one where we felt truly cared for. It’s because of nurses like Jesus that I am proud to be a St. Luke’s employee.
