We had a young patient admitted to COVID who had to be intubated pretty quickly into the stay. Jesus had this patient many of her days on the unit. I had the privilege of going and visiting the patient on 1 West after she was extubated and recovered. All the patient (and her mother especially) could do was rave about Jesus and how well he took care of her. The mom said many times when things weren't looking good for her daughter, she would call and Jesus would be right outside of the patient's window watching for any little change. Jesus also came on his days off to visit the patient and check on her. There have been so many times since COVID started that Jesus has stood out to me and taken extraordinary care of our patients.
