Jesus mendoza is a great bedside nurse and a great leader for 3 West. Always super patient with everyone, even the most difficult patient or family member, in any complicated situation, he is able to solve the problem and make the patients, families and nurses satisfied, because he has a serving heart, and fully advocates for patients, families and staff.

I have seen him spending a long time in a patient's room, helping to translate and explain discharge instructions and follow-ups. I have watched as Jesus spent his time at patient's bedside to talk to them and make them feel comfortable. I believe every patient loves him from the moment he walks into their room.

Jesus is also great with IV skills. Stat nurses always want us to get Jesus to try a difficult IV first before calling them. They know that 99% of the time Jesus can get it done without difficulty. All his clinical skills are without compare. As our charge nurse, he is willing to help us analyze and find solutions. He is calm and patient in every situation, even in stressful RRT or Code Blue; he responds right away. Jesus is a great leader and coach, helping the new graduate nurses build their confidence and advance their clinical skills and training new chemo nurses like me. He is the "go-to" resource nurse.
