Jewell Williams, BSN, RN, MEDSURG-BC

Jewell Williams is one of the nurses in ADTU who was assigned a patient being discharged from another area. As Jewell was preparing their discharge, she recognized challenges with the patient receiving medications. Jewell communicated with the physician to change the pharmacy one closer to the patient’s home. Jewell diligently worked through other barriers to ensure a safe discharge. Jewell, at the completion of her shift, went above and beyond to ensure the delivery of the patient’s medications to their home. This selfless act speaks volumes about Jewell’s character and her commitment to patient care.
