My son was born at 37 weeks and four days, but his lungs were underdeveloped and he had to spend 11 days in the NICU. We had the blessing of having Nurse Jica with us and she took exceptional care of my baby. She noticed the bright lights during rounds bothered him and made him a little eye mask to help him rest. She showed me how to bathe him and she sang to him and spoke so warmly to him at all times. She patiently answered all my questions and always made me feel so comforted. I am forever grateful for her extraordinary care.
