Jieun always has an upbeat attitude and smile. For every patient she is their advocate. I dropped off a patient to her in PACU that was starting to cough and have a lot of sputum. 20 minutes later she came to me saying the patient wasn’t doing well. We discussed the patient and she updated both GI doctor & Anesthesiologist. She updated the MD’s multiple times saying she felt things were wrong. The patient went back to the floor, rapid response was called and chest Xray was done showing Jieun was correct. She advocated for her patient the whole time and never stopped. She deserves this award.
