We would like to thank my daddy’s nurse, Jihan Mohamed, who cared for him during his hospital stay. During a difficult and emotional time, she was a true blessing to us. Her knowledge and professionalism gave us confidence, while her compassion, kindness, and genuine concern brought us comfort and peace. She went above and beyond simply providing medical care for my daddy with dignity, patience, and love. She would always call him “her buddy”. Her calming presence reassured us and helped ease our worries during this uncertain time. She took extra time to explain and educate my dad about his medications being administered and how they worked to help him recover in a way that he would understand. It was evident in every interaction that nursing is more than just a job to her; it’s a calling. Her love for what she does and her beautiful smile shine through her. We believe God places people in our lives at just the right time, and she was one of those people for my daddy. Jihan made a lasting impression on our family, and we believe she is truly deserving of recognition of the DAISY Award.
