On New Year's Day, Jill sprung into action saving a visitor’s life. A family member rushed out of a patient’s room hollering for help and Jill went in immediately. It was not her patient’s room. When she arrived, there was another visitor sitting in a recliner who was choking on a piece of hamburger meat with complete airway occlusion. The visitor was turning purple. Jill had to be creative with her skills to be able to position this man. She gave multiple Heimlich maneuvers, managed to remove the meat, and literally saved his life.
