An extraordinary story happened that prompted me to nominate Jill Christian to this humbling award. She was on her lunch break on her way to the cafeteria when one lady stopped and asked her if she works here. Jill answered "Yes", and the lady said, "I have a woman in labor in my car!"
Then Jill, with the lady, ran to the car in front of the Women`s Hospital, found the woman in real labor and she assisted the lady to drive the car in front of the emergency room, rushed to get a wheelchair and wheeled the woman in the emergency room so she could be helped and taken care of right away. Her compassion and willingness to help anyone, whether on the clock or not, is above and beyond her call of duty.
