Jill was great, she was so supportive, she told me what a great job I did in talking to him and assisting in bring him around.
My husband had a procedure that went sideways and ended up on life support in ICU for 4 days. Jill was with us for 3 days and was wonderful, all the ICU nurses were just fantastic! Jill stood out to me because on day 3 we were planning to bring him out of sedation and off the breathing tube; they began the process which she included me in, talking to him, getting him to respond to commands, etc. He did great! Unfortunately, he was still experiencing some bleeding and had to be put back under sedation. It was very disappointing. Jill was great, she was so supportive, she told me what a great job I did in talking to him and assisting in bring him around. She reviewed with me what we had done and what we would do again the next day. ICU was a bit of a roller coaster, but Jill always kept me informed with his test results, she would talk through what she was doing to him when checking on him and always helped me to feel grounded, included, and informed. Thank you, Nurse Jill!
