Jill has tirelessly given more of herself to SMC these past few months. Jill works towards ensuring that patients receive genuine care and instills ethics in her training of new orientees and other staff members. She is frequently called on by nurses to help and models empathy and care for patients with the utmost positive attitude. She is always professional and works tirelessly to ensure her staff has what they need to feel successful. Staff feel that they can trust her and often come seeking her help with other issues knowing that she has the skills necessary to deliver care or clinical knowledge to help ensure good processes. Jill continues to exemplify the mission and vision of Samaritan by being honest, accountable, empathetic, respectful, and trustworthy. She has instilled a vision for me to be better creating a special connection to me as a dear friend and great colleague. Jill is a DAISY Nurse because she has put herself into the shoes of the staff and worked hard to ensure their voice is heard and also push them to who she knows they can be throughout this crazy year.
