Jill is a nurse in Cath Lab. In Same Day Surgery the PCC, does all the IVs for Cath Lab, Surgeries, and X-ray Procedures. There are a lot of mornings when we have 20 IV starts, and at times I have other priorities that need attention. Jill offers her services, to come in early prior to clocking into Cath Lab and helps us out for an hour at 0530 am. A month ago, or so I had to have a Heart Cath and I was extremely nervous, Jill took time to explain the whole procedure to me from the time I go to the Cath Lab Pre-Op Holding and explained exactly what happens during the procedure. She offered to come in on her day off, to assist the doctor, so she could be in the Cath Procedure with me. No one will ever know, how much this meant to me, I was so nervous and having Jill there was awesome, I have a lot of confidence in her nursing ability. In addition, she asked me what kind of music I liked, she set her cell phone by my ear, and she played my favorite gospel station. Once again, because of Jill, I have never been so relaxed, feeling safe and in good hands. Thanks so much.
