This is being entered for the daughter of the patient who was being cared for. She called today to report that the care that her mother received from Jill Meek was exactly what both the patient and her daughter needed at a very critical time. The daughter reports that "Jill was so wonderful, so caring and even took the ambulance ride to CMMC with my mom." and "that she could not have asked for a better nurse to be on the ambulance trip with her." she also reports that "after she was done with my mother, she came to check on me when I arrived at CMMC to be sure that I was taken care of and had what I needed before getting back in the ambulance. "The daughter goes on to say, "My mother had been sick for some time, required dialysis for seven years, and Jill talked to her about her health struggles, the increasing challenges she has had, and the reality of her current illness." the daughter reports that her mother has since passed after deciding to pursue comfort care instead of further aggressive treatment once at CMMC. she again states that she thinks her mother "could not have had anyone better to be with her."
