From the moment we were introduced, we shared a laugh, a smile and a common goal, have this baby. The support and connection my husband and I experienced were truly unlike any other. This was not our first labor and delivery experience but our third. Jill shared her knowledge with us through her ability to make me feel comfortable physically and employed her sense of humor to comfort us emotionally. She was quick to make important decisions about my care and was there to support us when needed to make them as well. There were a couple of instances where I became quite nervous due to issues with past deliveries. Jill did not try to minimalize my feelings. Rather she held my hand, didn't leave my side and even wiped my tears. We were fortunate to have Jill as our nurse postpartum as well. She shared even more tips and tricks and provided amazing care for our baby boy. Jill is the epitome of what it means to be a nurse. She exemplifies her extraordinary capacity to care for others with a wealth of knowledge, confidence in that knowledge, experience, conviction, and most importantly, a supportive smile.
