Jill is the epitome of nursing excellence as she cared for my daughter in CICU. This was the first time my daughter was admitted to an adult unit, which was very anxiety provoking for us. It was apparent that Jill has been an ICU nurse for many years. She is so well versed in complex conditions and the technical side of nursing. Moreso, Jill listened to me and involved me in M's care--- she respected that I have taken care of M her entire life. Jill was so communicative letting me know everything she was doing, what was planned for the day and the reason/rationale for everything. She was calm and confident and therefore made me feel confident and trusting. At the end of her shift I asked her if she was done for the evening but she had 2 more reports to give. That surprised me because I thought M was her only patient because that is how she made us feel. Thank you Jill, for your nursing excellence, your kindness and compassion.
