Jillian Douglas was caring for a patient that was going to be discharged home after the hospital's outpatient pharmacy was scheduled to close. Jillian picked up and paid for the patient's medications so that the patient didn't have to make an extra stop at another pharmacy on the way home. These were medications the patient needed to manage his care. This kind act helped allow the patient to have a smoother transition back home.
