Jillian is an exemplary nurse, both clinically and professionally. She is caring and compassionate with her patients. She is supportive of all her coworkers and is a strong team player. During this challenging time, she remains dedicated to Hampton, her peers and her patients. Her recent, successful campaign of getting cloth mask donations for the hospital is just one example of that dedication. Hampton is very fortunate to have her on our team.

Jillian is always kind and will step up anytime she is needed. Jillian runs towards the crisis not away from it. She's a selfless human being. She has sent her boys and her dog away to be able to help her work family. Times like these are times to recognize people with such a kind heart and spirit.

Jillian has been tasked with navigating Unit 6 through a difficult time and has been positive, upbeat and a true asset the hospital. Even under pressure, Jillian has maintained her cool and kept patients safe and her coworkers calm.

Beyond the letters of accolades that are received by patients on Units 1 and 6, Jillian promotes Hampton to friends and family. During the COVID pandemic, Jillian bought hundreds of cloth masks for staff to utilize at work and at home. Jillian contacted friends, families and associates looking for and obtaining various PPE to keep staff safe. Jillian is kind and professional and well-liked by all. She is truly an example of a Hampton Healthcare Hero!

Every day Jillian goes above and beyond to help our patients. This is even more evident during these unprecedented times. Every patient who steps onto Unit 6 is met with kindness and compassion straight from Jillian's heart. We are so lucky to have someone like Jillian on our team; she is one of a kind. I and the rest of the staff on Unit 6 want to thank you for all that do for us, and all that you do for our patients. We love you!

Jill has provided free, handmade, comfortable masks these past months to help keep staff and patients safe. She has gone above and beyond, taking it upon herself to protect those in our community. She does all of this with a smile and a positive attitude. Recently, she has heartbreakingly made the sacrifice of distancing herself from her two young sons in order to keep them safe while she puts herself on the line to serve our patients. She truly embodies what it means to serve and is an inspiration not only in healthcare but in being a resilient, strong, positive, and above all, kind human being. I am proud to serve alongside her to help our patients heal.
