My story with Jillian started when I had my first son in 2022. My son was born after 22 hours of labor and 4 hours of pushing, resulting in a fourth-degree tear. My dream birth went down the drain. When I got to the post-partum room and met Jill, my world slowly started to spin again. I was so confused as to why my body failed. Why was this happening to me? I was a first-time Mom, so I was also learning how to be a Mom. Jillian was there for me anytime I needed her. She had every answer, whether it was medical or just about life. I remember at one point, I called her, and she asked me what I needed, and I told her nothing, just to see her because when she was around, I was ok. She sat on my bed and just let me cry and hold her hand. There are a million moments I could talk about from my experience, but that's my favorite. I have thought about Jill in every life moment with my son, such as his first birthday. I'll never forget her or understand how someone could be so nice and helpful. I always thought that she moved on and forgot about me. Over time I know she's met a million moms since me. However, I just had my second son, and when he came back from the nursery, Jillian was pushing his cart and said, "They said this was B's little brother." I was stunned. I was speechless. She remembered me.
