Jillian has been my "Go-To Nurse" since February 2017 when I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. I met Jillian at my first meeting with my Oncologist. To put it in my context, my Oncologist is "Batman" and Jillian is "Robin" in their quest to combat, find and destroy the criminal Cancer. I was frightened and confused when I found out I had cancer, from the very first moment I met Jillian, she exhibited a calmness and professionalism that made me feel that I was not alone in my battle with this dreaded disease. I have called Jillian numerous times throughout the week, if she was not available, she would always return my telephone calls. During the last 3 years, I feel that Jillian has been with me throughout my fight with this cancer. Jillian schedules all my appointments whether with my Oncologist or any of my numerous appointments with various Departments at University Hospitals. I never had to worry because Jillian had taken care of everything. Not only was she taking care of me medically, but she was my liaison and clerical support throughout the hospital.
Jillian is caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, and professional, I truly believe that I could not have made it this far in my Cancer Journey without Jillian, my Oncologist, and the Good Lord Above. Jillian exemplifies what being a Nurse is. She has always exhibited a calmness to me that gave me that extra strength to keep fighting my illness day to day, month to month, and year to year. She is truly an inspiration to me and is a DAISY Nurse.
