Miss Jillian Lockett was nominated for the care she provided during her junior level medical surgical course. Jillian was giving care to her patient when a family member noticed Jillian interacting with the patient and other family members, and the health care team. The family member being impressed with her care, wrote a letter acknowledging Jillian's caring attitude was exceptional. The faculty voted that Jillian had demonstrated compassionate care and should be chosen for this award.
