Jillian has shown me so much compassion, empathy, love, and understanding through this very difficult time.
It all started with an abrupt visit which led to surgery back in February of 2021. Then, came my stoma, which in all cases, freaked me out. Jill was accommodating, knowledgeable understanding and helpful. Now, fast forward to August, when the next surgery was up. I ended up with an ileostomy bag, which to my dismay was a disappointment and a daily struggle. I thought the first one was bad enough. At that time, I had my husband to lean on for help and understanding. Fast forward to September 2021… My loving husband was killed in a freak motorcycle accident, leaving me with no support at home. In conjunction with this devastating situation, my ileostomy was worse than my first one. I experienced numerous unexpected bag explosions and such, so I have started to come to see Jillian once to twice a week. She has shown me so much compassion, empathy, love, and understanding through this very difficult time. I could not have asked for a kinder and more thoughtful Nurse to help me through this very stressful and unbearable time.
