Jillian Pharoah

In nursing lab, Jillian was not only the first to volunteer to complete a skill, but she was also always the student who assisted others. Her willingness to step in was unlike that of other students. I still remember her staying late with a student who was struggling with a skills competency. Jillian helped guide the other student in proper practice, including maintaining patient safety. It was this work that helped the other student be successful. Jillian conveys compassion when interacting with patients. She was never the student to 'sit in the breakroom' during downtime. Jillian actively engaged with patients and went above and beyond in getting to know them.
