When I first started working at HFWB in March of 2024, I noticed Jill immediately when I was checking on a patient for a hospice consult. She was getting down at the patient's eye level to talk with them and ask them about their comfort and needs. After that encounter, I had multiple consults on the unit she works in, and she talks with patients and their families with compassion and empathy. She treats patients like they are her own family. More recently, I have witnessed her advocating for patients, which is remarkable. I think it is rare to find a nurse so compassionate about her patients, and she definitely deserves to be recognized for her work. She is a great role model to all nurses and is just a kind human being. I would trust her to care for my own family. Thanks, Jill, for all you do.

I have spent more than half of my year in the Henry Ford Hospital system. I know Ford Hospital for being the gold standard for their medical team. Jill had the best listening, understanding, ability to explain what is happening, she was advocate in making sure all my questions and concerns were addressed…. And the best sense of humor through this process!! She is a superstar!! After this nomination, I am going to ask Google how we go about getting a 6-star review because five is not enough! Give her a field of DAISIES!
