I came into the emergency room with several issues that manifested quickly, throat sores, body ache, pain and tightness in the chest, and elevated blood pressure. Needless to say, I was concerned and in discomfort. Nurse, Jim made me feel comfortable and cared for immediately. His level of consideration for his patients is beyond helpful and his medical knowledge is extensive. I was so incredibly grateful for him and the doctor that saw me. I have never in my life been to an emergency room that was as helpful, efficient, and compassionate as the one in Bennington Hospital. Nurse Jim absolutely deserves to be commended for his contribution to the ER team. I am certain I am not the only patient that feels this way.

My daughter was having abdominal pain with vomiting and fever. I was worried about appendicitis but the doctor and Jim were fabulously amazing in explaining the plan and listened and mapped out a plan that fit all of our concerns. Jim was comforting and friendly to my daughter and even asked her her favorite music and sang with her. He explained everything first and considered her age-related needs. What a wonderful emergency department from a visitor's point of view.
