Jim was my mothers' night RN. I was staying with her during the week. He came in hourly asking if we needed anything, bringing my mother whatever she wanted or needed as soon as he was asked. He made sure her bed was clean and comfortable. He then made sure I was comfortable, going above and beyond. He brought warm blankets and fresh pillowcases. When I wanted information, he explained it in a way that I could understand. On the last night, he came in and shook our hands and wished her and me well. He would talk to us; he made me feel that my mother did matter and she was not just another patient. He was the best nurse we had. Thank you, Jim!
