I told Jiminy about my fears going into my second back surgery. He was very reassuring and clearly stated he was an advocate for me. He explained my options and assured me I would be able to speak to my doctor prior to going into OR. I heard him tell my doctor assertively and appropriately about my fears and preferences for this surgery. Jiminy explained my rights and made me feel much more comfortable with my choices. I am a nurse too and really respect his patient advocacy and kindness, making me feel like he had "my back", so to speak.
