Beyond words, Bishop has outstanding clinical skills. Bishop has excellent time managing skills. She always administered my medications on time and routinely came back to check on effectiveness. Bishop would explain in detail my questions about all the clinical nursing procedures. I was extremely anxious as I am aware of the risks of my complex surgery. She was extremely compassionate and reassuring. The most important skill was my trust in her nursing abilities. We established a very therapeutic trust. I am in remission from alcoholism and I could trust Bishop with this part of my medical history without judgment. She made me feel very comfortable also as I observed outstanding clinical nursing. Bishop is a great asset to Swedish.
