J'May has gone out of her way on numerous occasions to show care and compassion to her patients. Most recently, she arranged an anniversary dinner for a patient that she was caring for. She called Longhorn's and arranged for food to be brought in for the couple, and she had a table set up for them in the gym area.
Another story that shows her kindness is the time that she arranged for a rodeo clown to visit a patient with Down's syndrome through her connections. The patient loved rodeo clowns and the patient was visited by the clown during his stay at Floyd.
A submission from a patient noted that they had a trouble setting up their equipment at home, so this nurse went by the patient's home after her long shift to set it up for them.
