I had a patient who was upset because her dog was at home with no one to check on him. The dog had been there for 3 days. I told Jo about the situation and she went and talked to my patient. The next morning Jo went to pick up the dog and cared for him for the next 4 days until the patient was discharged. She then took the dog back to the patient’s house. She went above and beyond for a patient that she was not even assigned. The patient was able to get better without the added stress of worrying about her dog. Thank you, Jo.
