Joanie is a float nurse in GIM here at Lahey Medical Center, Peabody. She goes to any department at any time (sometimes multiple departments in one day) and never complains. Her first and only priority is and always has been the patients. Joanie makes sure everything is 100% correct all the time to the point that she will stay late to do so. She is one of the best patient and staff advocates, I know. She is an exemplary nurse and cares about everyone. I am proud to be a co-worker of Joanie. She is truly deserving of this award.
