A truly compassionate and skilled nurse that is a real asset to Henry Ford Macomb. The patient began having issues two weeks after being released following their colostomy, so they called Joan at the hospital. She heard the stress in her patient’s voice and told her to come into the hospital to be checked out. Joan found an empty hospital room, examined them, and reassured they didn’t have a hernia or problematic skin issues. Her patient felt fortunate to have her expert guidance.
