Joan Vincent is a CNO who champions, guides, and supports nurses. She leads by example and exemplifies through her work each and every day that nurses are the heart of health care. Her leadership over the past six years has strengthened our nursing program at Shady Grove Medical Center such that we are within reach of world-class care for our patients - all while combatting a pandemic. We are pleased to present the DAISY Lifetime Achievement Award to Joan Vincent in this very special 'Year of the Nurse', celebrating her 52 years of service dedicated to the noble profession of nursing. This award is a gift made possible through the Shady Grove Foundation from a colleague who has been inspired by Joan.
